The company behind the website www.folkstorys.eu is PitVIt. The terms "we", "our" and "us" as used in the text below refer to PitVit.
To register a user account with us, apply for credit or purchase a product or products from our website, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you can make purchases with parental consent. By purchasing a product or products from our range, registering a user account with us, using one of the services we offer via our website, you agree to our current terms and conditions, thereby confirming that the information you provide about yourself is correct.
We have the right to unilaterally change these terms and conditions without prior notice. The version of the terms you accept when ordering will apply to your purchase.

Prices and rates
Our prices and rates may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to significant changes in raw material prices, exchange rate fluctuations or new VAT rates. All prices include 21% VAT. If the VAT rate changes, we reserve the right to adjust our prices and rates accordingly.

For your convenience, we offer different payment methods:
Credit card
With card payment you pay directly at the checkout with your credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We use 3D Secure and always encrypt your card number, so your purchase is always safe.

With iDeal you pay directly through your bank account
Right of withdrawal
With us you have a 30-day return policy. You have the right to open the packaging to view/examine the purchased product, but to the extent necessary to determine the properties or function of the product. The right of return applies to almost all articles on our website. However, the right of return does not apply to special items that are made to order or custom-made.
The right of return is valid for 30 days from the day you receive your product(s), or receive the last product in your order where the products are delivered in several shipments. We ask that you return unused products with all tags and labels within 30 days in the original packaging. Keep the return receipt until you receive a message from us that your return has been processed. This is proof that you have returned.
In the case of a return, the return cost will be born by the buyer.

When the entire order is returned, we will refund the full amount of the products and the processing costs, but not the return costs or additional charges for e.g. service on delivery. If you choose to return only part of your order, we will not reimburse processing costs or return costs. This is because the cost is the same no matter how many items you order.
The refund will be issued once we have received and processed the return, which may take 2-3 weeks from the time the return is handed over to the carrier. If your handling of the item has led to a reduction in value, we will deduct the corresponding amount. This reduction is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The way a refund is issued depends on how you paid for the item. Refunds to bank cards can take up to 5 business days to be visible in your bank account due to the bank's processing time.

Package not picked up
For shipments that are not picked up within the specified time, we charge a surcharge of EUR 5.93 for a standard package. The surcharge corresponds to the actual costs for shipping, returns and handling.
Transport damage
Report any damage to us directly via our contact form under ´´customer service´´. Include photos of the packaging and the damaged product. Please from different angles.
Restituties
If you want to cancel your purchase due to a delayed delivery, the refund will be made within 14 days. Refunds are made as soon as we have received and processed the return or complaint. The way a refund is issued depends on how you paid for the item. When purchasing with a bank card, you will receive the refund on the same bank card from which the money was debited, Please note that this may take a few days before the refund is visible in your account due to the bank's processing time.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
1. The entrepreneur has a sufficiently publicized complaints procedure and handles the complaint in accordance with this complaints procedure.
2. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur within a reasonable time, fully and clearly described, after the consumer has discovered the defects.
3. Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeable longer processing time, the entrepreneur will respond within the period of 14 days with a message of receipt and an indication when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer.
4. A complaint about a product, service or the service of the entrepreneur can also be submitted via a complaint form from the website of the Stichting Webshop Keurmerk www.keurmerk.info. The complaint will then be sent both to the entrepreneur in question and to the Stichting Webshop Keurmerk.
5. If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises that is susceptible to the dispute settlement.
Disputes
For disputes that we cannot resolve, you can contact one of the government offices for consumer disputes in the Netherlands, for example ACM via www.acm.nl or Consuwijzer via www.consuwijzer.nl . You can also use the online dispute resolution service available on the European Commission's website: http://ec.europa.eu/odr .
Fraud
We report all acts and attempts of fraud and computer hacking to the police. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your purchase in cases where we have reason to suspect fraud, computer hacking and/or other misuse of our website.
Color rendering
Since different screens and individual screen settings affect color reproduction, we cannot guarantee that the exact color shades of the items will match the images displayed when consumers visit our online store. We cannot be held responsible for printing or typing errors.
ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

Force majeur
PitVit shall not be penalized for failure to perform any obligation under these terms and conditions, provided that the failure is due to extenuating circumstances as described below and such circumstances prevent, complicate or delay such performance. Mitigating circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts or omissions of the authorities, new or amended legislation, labor market conflicts, blockades, fire, floods, sabotage or a major accident. Force majeure includes official decisions with a negative impact on the market and products, such as decisions on warning texts or sales bans, as well as unusual market downturns.
